Meet Ellie Hall

Named after hotel visionary Craig Hall’s mother, Ellie was a confident trailblazer for women’s rights and was a compassionate teacher and artist who always looked for the beauty in life, possessing a resolutely independent spirit. One of her greatest pleasures in life was gathering friends and loved ones to share a delicious meal and spirited conversation, a communal endeavor that brought her immense joy. It is in this spirit of togetherness and joie de vivre that Ellie’s was created.

Welcome to the family.

Ellie’s in the Dallas Arts District is one of my favorite “go-to” restaurants for pre or post-show dinner and drinks. I recently had the incredible combination of Red Miso Barbecue Pork Ribeye with Lobster Fried Rice and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. All were curated beautifully together because of the enjoyable taste of Miso Pork with the light Lobster Fried Rice and the colorful Strawberry Shortcake.  I can’t wait to return to try something new.
